Honda H'ness CB350 Based Cafe Racer Teased in India

While we are awaiting Honda Nepal to launch the Honda H'ness CB350 in the Nepalese market, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), has officially teased a new cafe racer on the Honda H'ness CB350 motorcycle. The teaser confirms that a new Honda Motorcycle will be launched on February 16, 2021. The Japanese bike maker has already confirmed earlier the possibility of launching multiple new bikes on the H'ness CB350 platform. As per reports, Honda is also reportedly working on a new Scrambler based on the CB350.Mechanically, the upcoming bike will use the same equipment and components from the H'ness CB350. However, the new CB350 based cafe racer is likely to get clip-on handlebars, a forward-biased riding position, a new single-piece seat setup with a vintage cowl, cafe racer graphics, and a black exhaust, etc.The Honda H'ness CB350 is powered by a 348cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder long-stroke thumper that belts out 21 bhp and 30 Nm. The CB350 will also have a segment-first slipper clutch for a better riding experience and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) that helps in maintaining rear-wheel traction. The CB 350's closest rival, the Royal Enfield Classic 350, makes only 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm. The bike sits on a half-duplex frame and gets telescopic forks at the front and z twin hydraulic suspension at the rear. Braking duties are provided by disc brakes (310mm disc in the front and 240mm rear disc) with dual-channel ABS.The Honda H'ness CB350 comes loaded with many features when compared to its rivals. You get a semi-digital info cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for call/music and navigation, and a semi-digital info cluster that displays a gear position indicator, Bluetooth indicator, fuel gauge, two trip meters, and other tell-tale diagnostics like battery health monitor, HSTC, ABS, side stand indicator and ECO indicator.Although the Honda H'ness CB350 is yet to make its Nepal debut, expect the bike to launch soon in the Nepalese market. The Honda H'ness CB350 rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Motorcycles, and the Benelli Imperiale 400.
