NADA Provides Financial Assistance to the Taplejung Fire Victims

A six-member NADA delegation led by NADA Chairman Krishna Prasad Dulal called on Hon'ble Minister for Physical, Infrastructure, and Transport  Vasant Kumar Nembang on April 20, 2077 BS. During the meeting, NADA Chairman Krishna Prasad Dulal handed over a cheque of Rs 2.01 Lakh in the name of  Taplegunj District Disaster Management Committee to the Hon'ble Minister.  The massive fire which broke out at Dobhan Bazaar in Meringden Rural Municipality-3, Taplejung, destroyed around four dozen houses and rendered Fifty-five families homeless.During the discussion, the Hon'ble Minister thanked NADA for its interest and support during the disaster in the country. In addition, the Hon'ble Minister also vowed to add a certain amount on his personal behalf and hand it over to the District Administration Office, Taplejung through the state parliamentarians.NADA President Krishna Prasad Dulal, Vice Presidents Karan Kumar Chaudhary and Akash Golchha, General Secretary Sunil Rijal, Secretary Anup Kumar Baral, and Treasurer Surendra Kumar Upreti were also present on the occasion.
