If you think Alcazar would only be a longer version of Creta, you're completely mistaken. Hyundai is making a strong push into the 7-seater market. We know that the Alcazar is a three-row version of the second-generation Creta, which means it will be sharing much of the same parts, platform, and powertrains as the five-seat SUV. Though both SUVs seem to be very alike from the outside and inside. The Alcazar, on the other hand, would have a number of special features, and the carmaker has made subtle changes to differentiate the all-new Hyundai Alcazar from its standard 5-seater sibling.
Interior
The Alcazar's interior would be different from the Creta. Captain seats will be available in the middle row of the Alcazar SUV, and will be available in 6- and 7-seater versions. The middle row of the 7-seater edition would have a bench seat. You can also choose from two captain chairs in the middle row, each with its own dedicated center console. It seems to be fixed on the floor and may have cup holders. It will also provide wireless charging devices for captain seat passengers, according to sources. Since the interior architecture is identical to that of the Creta. The Creta has a distinct upholstery and chain style than Creta. Only the top-end models will have a dual-tone interior with a black and dark brown cabin theme. Hyundai Alcazar will be available with all of the bells and whistles, including a 360-degree display, which will be an upgrade from the Hyundai Creta. Just a reverse parking camera comes standard on the Hyundai Creta.
Exterior Design Elements
The basic design also resembles the Creta from the front. It does, though, get a new iteration of Hyundai's cascading grille. Inside the grille, there are several individual chrome parts. It also has a chrome surround on the sides that matches Creta's headlamps. Overall, the Alcazar's front fascia seems to be more premium than the Creta's. The rear tail lamp style is somewhat different from what we've seen on the Creta. The Creta's tail lamps have a C-shaped LED running light, while the Alcazar's are much larger and have a different configuration for the running light. The LED strip is mounted in the tail lamps' lower surround. We have a very new tailgate at the back that is more vertical. The glass and the tailgate itself were steeply angled, while the glass on the Creta was raked. The LED tail lamps are connected by a chrome slat. On the same chrome slat, the word "Alcazar" is spelled out, and rear fog lamps are positioned in the lower half of the bumper.
Updated Dimensions
Obviously, the Alcazar SUV will be longer than the Creta SUV. Except for the wheelbase, the Hyundai Alcazar has almost identical dimensions to the Hyundai Creta. The wheelbase of the new Hyundai SUV is 2,760 mm, which is 150 mm longer than that of its 5-seater equivalent. In contrast to the Creta, the Alcazar would have a new range of diamond-cut alloy wheels. Although the Creta comes with 17-inch wheels, the Alcazar is supposed to have larger 18-inch wheels.
Bigger Engine
The Hyundai Alcazar will be powered by the same 1.5-litre diesel engine as the Hyundai Creta. It will also be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 159 PS and 192 Nm of power and torque. This is the same power station that the Hyundai Tucson uses. The diesel engine is the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged unit used in the Creta, producing 115hp and 250Nm. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
