Fiat Compact SUV Unveiled For The Brazillian Market

Fiat has unveiled the brand's first new SUV in quite some time. Fiat once was a well-known brand in Nepal, offering cars such as the Punto, Linea, and Avventura. With the latest offering, Fiat could be able to make a return in a market that is currently dominated by SUVs. This latest SUV, internally dubbed Project 363, will first be available in South American markets this year and later might introduce in the Nepali market too. Uniquely, the brand is running a promotion where fans can choose the final name of the compact SUV from three options: Pulse, Domo, and Tuo.In terms of appearance, the new SUV has the classic Fiat Italian flair. All of the muscular lines and claddings give it a beefy and rugged look. The wide front grille and LED headlights seem to have been inspired by the Maserati Levante.  It has a tough-looking skid plate that gives it a commanding appearance. The SUV features a sculpted windshield, a chrome bar above the grille, and LED headlights. It has a solid character line that extends through the width and an upward swooping window line. Dual-tone color variations will only be available on the top-spec models. It has all of the required dimensions for a compact SUV.The rear profile includes sleek wraparound LED taillights, a sculpted tailgate, a roof-integrated spoiler with brake lights, a two-tone bumper, and a dual exhaust system. Fiat hasn't shown us the interior, but the carmaker has pointed at some serious tech, thanks to Fiat Connect Me smart car technology. Fiat wasn't kidding when they said the MLA platform would prioritize protection, as it would provide self-driving assistance. While not anything about the engines has been reported, the new Fiat SUV will be powered by a new direct-injection 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine based on the 1.0 Firefly. This engine is expected to have a power output of around 125bhp and a torque output of around 200Nm. It will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 1.3-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 109bhp and 140Nm of torque, will be one of the other engine choices. A CVT-style gearbox will be combined with this engine. A new 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which also drives the Jeep Compass in South America, is planned to be added to the car.
