Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid Launched In India

The all-new Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid is powered by a BS-VI compliant, air-cooled, fuel-injected (Fi), 125 cc blue core engine that produces a power output which is +30% and fuel economy +16% higher compared to the earlier 113 cc scooter and the bodyweight is 99 kgs, which is 4 kgs lighter than Yamaha’s earlier scooters.The scooter is powered by a 125 cc engine making 8 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,000 rpm. This engine is paired to a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system that includes an electric motor for power assist while accelerating from a stop. The hybrid powertrain also offers power assist on uphill climbs to reduce stress on the powerplant.The Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid also gets a newly designed headlight with DRLs, LED Taillight, Digital Meter Console, and YMCC –X Bluetooth connectivity on the disc brake variant. Apart from this, the scooter continues to get features like a silent start, an automatic stop-start system for better fuel economy, and a side-stand engine cut-off.

Yamaha offers the Fascino 125 FI Hybrid in as many as nine colours for the disc brake version and seven colours for the drum brake model. The Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid rivals the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125 and the TVS NTorq 125.
