Discussions Held Between Hon'ble Minister of State for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha & NADA Delegation

A seven-member NADA delegation led by NADA Vice-President Karan Chaudhary called on the newly appointed Minister of State for Population and Population Umesh Shrestha to discuss the effect of the pandemic on the automobile sector and the immediate need for vaccination for frontline workers employed in the sector. NADA informs that the delegation had in-depth discussions on several issues relating to the pandemic.During the meeting, NADA Vice-President Chaudhary informed the state minister about the impact of Covid-19 on the automobile sector. Due to the lack of vaccination, front-line personnel employed in this sector are facing a hardship. And, this has been creating a direct impact on the revenue received by the government from the automobile sector. During the discussion, Chaudhary said that the automobile business has not been able to gain momentum due to the pandemic and has urged for immediate provision of vaccines.  Hon'ble Minister of State Umesh Shrestha assured that he would do his best to provide the vaccines.The delegation also requested Health and Population Secretary Laxman Aryal to provide necessary vaccinations. During the meeting and discussion, Secretary Aryal urged the private sector to make efforts for the import and distribution of vaccines.NADA Vice President Karan Kumar Chaudhary, Treasurer Surendra Kumar Upretil, Co-Treasurer Bikram Singhania, Central Working Committee members Nilamani Pathak, Milan Babu Malla, Deepak Agrawal, and Pankaj Agrawal were also present at the discussion.
