Yamaha Launches RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid And Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid!

India Yamaha Motor launched the updated 2021 Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and the 2021 Yamaha Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid in India.The all-new Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid is powered by a BS-VI compliant, air-cooled, fuel-injected (Fi), 125cc blue core engine that produces a power output of 8 bhp at 6500 RPM and maximum torque of 10.3 Nm @ 5000 RPM. Like the Fascino 125 hybrid, the engine is paired to a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system that includes an electric motor for power assist while accelerating from a stop. The hybrid powertrain also offers power assist on uphill climbs. The scooters also get an automatic start/stop system, Unified Braking System (UBS), and a side stand engine cut-off switch.Although the exterior changes remain more or less the same, the scooter gets new colour options and a pair of knuckle guards on the handlebar. It gets Bluetooth connectivity as an option via the Yamaha Connect X app. The scooter also gets new apron-mounted LED headlights.  The new paint options include Metallic Black, Racing Blue, Cyan Blue, Matte Red Metallic and Reddish Yellow Cocktail in the standard variant while the top end street rally variant gets Matte green and matte orange colours.The launch of the new scooters falls under Yamaha's “The Call of the Blue" campaign. At the launch, Motofumi Shitara, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India group of companies said, “The launch of the Hybrid version of the new RayZR 125 FI and Street Rally 125 FI has allowed Yamaha to further expand its portfolio of Hybrid scooter offerings in India. After receiving an immense response for the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, we are confident about further strengthening our position in the market, with these new offerings."
