Ford Nepal (G.O Automobiles Pvt. Ltd) has announced the booking of the all-new 2022 Ford Everest in the Nepalese market. The Everest, which will be imported from Thailand, gets a new 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo Diesel engine and the world’s first 10-speed automatic transmission –at an introductory price of Rs 1.99 Crore. The Ford Everest was also known as the Ford Endeavour in the Indian market.The Ford Everest was developed and destined mainly for the Asia-Pacific region. Similarly, it is one of the most loved SUVs in the global market and ASEAN region. The first Everest debuted in 2003, with the current second-generation model debut in 2015 and continuing the Ford legacy.
Commenting on the announcement, Akash Golchha, MD-G.O Automobiles quoted, “With the introduction of Ford Everest we are offering a product that combines best of both worlds - outstanding capabilities & class-leading features - and thereby delivering more than SUV customers expect. With its enhanced value proposition, we are confident that the Everest will become the SUV of choice for several new customers.”
Ford Everest’s 2.0L Bi-Turbo diesel engine delivers 213PS of power and 500Nm of peak torque. The Ford Everest offers a robust design, unmatched off-roading capabilities, class-leading safety & enhanced convenience with Terrain Management System, Electronic locking rear differential, Hill Descent Control, Hill Launch Assist, Hands-Free Lift Gate, Dual-Panel Sun-Roof, Power Fold Third-Row Seats, Seven airbags, Electronic Stability with Roll Stability, EPAS with Pull-Drift Compensation, and Multi-intelligent instrument cluster, etc.
Furthermore, it gets SYNC3, Apple CarPlay compatibility with Voice command, AppLink, Keyless Entry & Push-Button Start, Rear View Camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Rain-Sensing Wipers, Automatic Headlamps and many more.
