Interaction Held Between NADA And JAAM Nepal; Emphasis Put On The Capacity Building Of Auto Journalists

An interaction and reception program between NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal and the Journalist Association for Automobile and Mobility - JAAM Nepal was held in the capital. During the event, JAAM Nepal's President Ujwal Jung Shah, Vice-President Surendra Poudel, General Secretary Sagar Gajurel, Secretary Toynath Poudel, Treasurer Roshan Kumar Shrestha, and members Saurav Nepal, Prayas Shrestha, Ramkrishna Neupane (Shakti), Basant Aryal, Yuvraj Basnet, and Ujwal Ghimire were honored by NADA Chairman Krishna Prasad Dulal.Welcoming all those present at the event, NADA General Secretary Sunil Rijal wished all the office bearers and members of the newly formed Journalist Association for Automobile and Mobility (JAAM) a successful tenure. Similarly, Mohan Babu Khadka, a member of the NADA Central Committee and President of the Western Automobile Dealers Association, put forward his best wishes on the behalf of Western Automobile Dealers Association.Elaborating on the issue that's been gripping the Nepalese automobile industry, JAAM Nepal's President Ujwal Jung Shah informed that the organization would work as a strong bridge for good relations between the government and auto dealers. Similarly, General Secretary of JAAM Nepal, Sagar Gajurel, said that JAAM and NADA can work together with the emergence of JAAM. Although there are many journalists' organizations in the country, there is no organized body for journalists working in the auto sector,  hence there was a need for such organizations in the country. He said that JAAM is also committed to assisting in the training and development of auto journalists who are actively involved in the sector.Speaking on the occasion, NADA Chairman Krishna Prasad Dulal stressed the need to develop infrastructure for the development of the country. Stating that the roads have not been constructed as per the pressure of vehicles, he said that businessmen and journalists should put positive pressure on the government for infrastructure development including upgrading of roads.Similarly, NADA's Vice-President Karan Chaudhary thanked all those present in the ceremony and highlighted the need and importance of auto journalists in the overall development of the automobile sector. The program was facilitated by NADA Secretary Anup Baral.Nepal Drives will be working together with the Journalist Association for Automobile and Mobility - JAAM Nepal and NADA Association of Nepal on various issues related to the industry.
