Dhruba Thapa Elected NADA Chairman; Chaudhary Panel Elects 12 Members, Thapa Panel Gets 5

Dhruba Thapa has been elected as the President of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal. Thapa defeated another presidential candidate Karan Chaudhary by 66 votes. Thapa got 1413 votes while Chaudhary got 1347 votes.
Similarly, 12 members of Chaudhary's panel and 5 members of Dhruba Thapa's panel have won from the member side. From Karan Chaudhary's panel, Milan Babu Malla (1465), Anup Kumar Baral (1463), Rajan Babu Shrestha (1457), Surendra Kumar Upreti (1432) and Sunil Rijal (1402) have won. Also, Abhik Jyoti (1383), Prakash Kapuri (1379), Bikram Singhania (1371) and Gopal Bhattarai (1365), Nilmani Pathak (1354), Vardan Basnet (1350) and Pankaj Agrawal (1334) have won from the same panel.
From Dhruba Thapa's panel, Nirakar Shrestha (1364), Yamuna Shrestha (1355), Kapil Shiwakoti (1348), Pradeep Man Pradhan (1346) and Akash Golchha (1339) have been elected.
According to the NADA Election Committee, 2788 votes were cast. Similarly, seven institutional members have been elected unopposed. Mohan Babu Khadka, Tej Narayan Sah, Shubhash Acharya, Pushkar Raj Ojha, Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai, Sudesh Kumar Shrestha and Bhadra Bhandari have been elected unopposed.
