NASA Nepal Expands To Lumbini; Forms Lumbini Provincial Association

As a part of its ongoing expansion campaign, Nepal Automobiles Association (NASA Nepal) has formed a newly working committe of the Lumbini Provincial Association. The provincial association was formed in the presence of Govinda Bhattarai, World Council Member of Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body of motor sport that promotes safe, sustainable and accessible mobility for all road users across the world.The newly formed working committee has Niraj Gautam as its coordinator and Kishor Bhandari as its secretary. Similarly, Prakash Khanal, Sanjiv Bhandari, Deepak Neupane, Jeevan Khanal, Devu Khanal and Prajjan Bikram Pokharel are among the members. The advisors are Kapil Neupane, Lokhari Shrestha and Dinesh Pandey. The three programs of the newly formed Provincial Association this year have also been made public.The members also believe that the association could play an important role in promoting adventure sports and adventure tourism in Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha.Kapil Neupane, Secretary of NECOS and Dinesh Pandey, General Secretary of Safe Travel Campaign-Nepal congratulated the office bearers and members of the newly formed Provincial Association and wished them success in their tenure.NASA has been active with the main objective of preparing the organizational structure as per the spirit of Sports Development Act 2077 and preparing itself in accordance with the working procedure of the International Federation of FIA. The activities of NASA Nepal involved in programs related to motor, motorcycle sports, automobile mobility and tourism and road safety will now be province-centric.
