Michelin Tires Maintains Its Number One Position In 2021

Michelin, a French brand of tyre, has been recognized as the world’s most valuable tyre brand by Brand Finance in 2021, too. Michelin achieved a brand strength index score of 85.8 out of 100 as per the rating of Brand Finance, known as the world’s No.1 consultancy firm in terms of brand valuation.Since 2018, this brand has bagged way the title of the world’s most valuable tyre in a row. This year, the brand value of Michelin has reached USD $7,736 million. Last year, such value stood at USD $ 6,848 million. In the list of the world’s most valuable brand, Michelin has been followed by Bridgestone, a Japanese tyre brand, for the last five years in the second position. In 2021, Michelin succeeded to become the world’s largest selling brand by posting a turnover of USD $25.9 billion. The brand was again followed Bridgestone in the second position.Despite the international economic downturn triggered by the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, Michelin was able to become the world’s number one tyre brand in terms of sales amount.
