Nepal Tourism Board Announces Shuttle Bus Service To Facilitate Tourists On Election Day

Keeping in mind the convenience of transportation service between airport and hotels in Kathmandu on the day of the local election on May 13, 2022, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) with support from the Tourist Police and in coordination with the Nepal Tourist Vehicle Association (NTVA) and the Tourist Bus Association of Nepal (TBAN), will operate paid shuttle bus service connecting various routes from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to hotels in the city. The shuttle bus will be available for tourists/visitors who arrive at TIA for transfer to hotels and vice versa.Route 1: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) - Hotel Annapurna - Hotel Yak & Yeti - Thamel Chowk - Lainchaur Chowk - Hotel Shanker - Hotel Ambassador - AirportRoute 2: Hotel Radisson - Hotel Shangrila - Narayan Gopal Chowk - Maharajgunj Chowk - Hyatt Regency - Chabahil Chowk - Hotel Dwarika's - AirportRoute 3: Airport - Tinkune Chowk - Hotel Everest - Maitighar Chowk - Hotel Himalaya - Hotel Soaltee - Hotel Grand - AirportThe mandatory rules for passengers are as follows:
  1. Prior to boarding the bus, passengers must show their Passports and Tickets.
  2. Each passenger must pay NPR. 300 as fare to use the shuttle bus service.
  3. The fare will be collected by the service provider on the bus itself.
