Ashish Bharati (Ronny) Takes Victory In Frontier Motorsports' Time-Attack Challenge

Frontier Motorsport has successfully hosted Nepal's first time-attack Challenge event on December 17th, 2022. Frontier Motorsport: Time Attack Challenge was promoted, organized and administered by Frontier Motorsport Pvt. Ltd., in compliance with the regulations set forth by Nepal Automobiles’ Association (NASA).The event which was organized at a temporarily closed circuit on the outskirts of Kathmandu valley saw participants bring their own car and race it around the circuit to set the fastest lap time.The inaugural edition of the time attack challenge was won by Ashish Bharati (Ronny) with 235 points while Koshish Parajuli took P2 (210 points) to finish ahead of Abhishek Agrawal (201 points) for the second position in the event. Jay Pratap Maskey finished fourth while Suryansh Vaidya took P5 in the overall standings.[table id=235 /]According to Frontier Motorsport, the objective of the event was to promote motorsport in the country and test the feasibility of running an entire season for a time-attack series in Nepal. Although motorsport is quite an expensive sport, Frontier Motorsport wants to make it as affordable and accessible to encourage motorsport fans and automotive enthusiasts in Nepal.
