Frontier Motorsport has organized the first-ever sim-racing event in Nepal – ‘Frontier Motorsport: Virtual Hot-Lap Competition’ from January 5-8, 2023. The virtual hot-lap competition was promoted, organized and administered by Frontier Motorsport Pvt. Ltd.
Shane Wilson took the first position while Niman Shakya and Anish Sharma bagged the second and third positions respectively.
The track selected for the virtual race was Zandvoort in the sim racing game Assetto Corsa Competizione, ensuring a neutral platform and fair competition for all the participants. Drivers had to showcase their racing skills on a McLaren 570s GT4.
The competition saw 36 total participants over the course of 3 days during the qualifying rounds and the top 10 competitors were selected for the final round.
