Royal Enfield Nepal Organizes 'Lady Riders Meet'

Alpha Automotive, the official dealer for Royal Enfield in Nepal, recently organized a 'Lady Riders Meet' event for the women riders of Royal Enfield.The main objective of this program was to preserve and promote the Mehndi culture of Shrawan month, Women Empowerment, Road Safety Awareness, Riding Safety Awareness and Two Wheel Tourism.The ride program which was commenced from the company's showroom in Naxal started with a Mehndi ceremony for interested riders.  After the Mehndi program, the women riders were provided with a token of love before embarking on a test-ride experience of the new Classic 350cc and Scram 411cc.[nd_gallery images="40490,40491,40492,40493"]UNESCO and Royal Enfield have collaborated on the Great Himalayan Exploration project to promote Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). Under this, UNESCO has been spreading awareness for the identification, documentation and preservation of cultural traditions, music, dance, drama, stories, festivals, rituals and food traditions.Mrs. Kalpana Bhandari, Ms. Praveena Dhungana and Mr. Anuj Malla, the company's representatives, welcomed the participating women riders.
