Shangrila Motors Private Limited, the authorized distributor of Citroen in Nepal, is set to launch a new top-spec Shine variant of the
eC3 electric hatchback.
While the overall design of the Citroen eC3 remains unchanged, the Shine variant will come with several new features. These include electrically adjustable wing mirrors, a rear parking camera, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a rear wiper-washer, and a rear defogger. In addition, the new variant will also get faux skid plates at the front and back, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.The Citroen eC3 Shine variant continues to retain the 10.2-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual air conditioning, a four-speaker stereo system, keyless entry, and a digital driver's display from the existing variant. In terms of safety, it offers dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.The powertrain of the eC3 remains the same in the Shine variant. It features a 29.2 kWh battery pack, providing an ARAI-claimed range of 320 km, paired with an electric motor producing 57 PS and 143 Nm.The eC3 supports two charging options: a 50 kW DC fast charger that charges the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 57 minutes, and a 15A AC home charger that takes 10.5 hours to charge the battery from 10 to 100 percent.
