Hansraj Hulaschand & Co. Pvt. Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has announced the launch of the all-new Pulsar N150 for Rs 3.59 Lakh. The Pulsar N150 is a sportier version of the Pulsar 150 and draws design inspiration from the larger Pulsar N160.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Abhimanyu Golchha, Director of Golchha Group, stated, "Since the day of its launch in Nepal, Pulsar bikes have set new benchmarks in Nepal and globally, making Pulsar one of the most loved motorcycling brands across 70 countries. Today, Pulsar ups the benchmark yet again with the launch of the Pulsar N150."
In terms of looks, the bike gets a similar design to the Pulsar N160, showcasing a similar LED projector headlamp with LED DRLs on each side, alongside a sculpted fuel tank with extensions. However, it gets a single seat instead of a split design. The Pulsar N150 also gets a digital instrument cluster, borrowed from the N160, along with a convenient USB port on the fuel tank and a speedometer.
Powering the Pulsar N150 is a 149.6cc single-cylinder BS6 engine generating 14.5bhp at 8,500rpm and 13.5Nm at 6,000rpm, identical to the output of the Pulsar P150. This engine is mated with a five-speed gearbox.
The N150 features 31mm front telescopic forks and twin rear shocks for suspension, while braking is managed by a 240mm disc with single-channel ABS at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear. The bike comes with 17-inch alloys wrapped in 90/90 front and 120/70 rear tyres from MRF.
Available in Racing Red, Ebony Black, and Metallic Pearl White, the Pulsar N150 competes against the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Yamaha FZS-FI, Suzuki Gixxer, and the Hero Xtreme 160R in the market.
