Upcoming EV in Nepal: MG Cyberster Electric Sportscar; Check Expected Price and Features

Last July, we reported that the MG Cyberster electric sportscar might enter the Nepalese market in limited units. Next month, the electric roadster will finally arrive ahead of the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2024. The Cyberster electric sports car is expected to be priced between Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 1.8 crore in our market.

The MG Cyberster is a two-door, two-seater electric roadster with a distinctive low nose, curvaceous rear haunches, and striking new features including scissor doors and a Kammback tail. The EV measures 4,533mm in length, 1,912mm in width and 1,328mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,689mm.

In the international market, the Cyberster is offered with two battery packs and motor configurations. The entry-level model features a single rear axle-mounted motor producing 308 hp, paired with a 64 kWh battery, and has a claimed range of 520 km. The top-of-the-line model comes with a 77 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 580 km, and boasts a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.2 seconds.The Cyberster also offers four distinct modes: Comfort, Custom, Sport, and Track, along with an electric-powered folding roof. It also features Brembo brakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, a trio of displays including a 10.25-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree parking camera, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system.
